Abstract
1. A method comprising:! a mobile station initiating a request to stop receiving a multimedia broadcast / multimedia service radio channel; and! transmitting this request to the wireless network, which is the source of the multimedia broadcast / multimedia service radio channel. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which the mobile station operates in a non-feedback mode. ! 3. The method according to claim 1, in which the mobile station operates in a feedback mode. ! 4. The method according to claim 2, in which the initiation and transmission include sending to the wireless network a request message (packet) channel ((PACKET) CHANNEL REQUEST) with the basis for access Single Block MBMS Access (Single Block MBMS Access), and the method itself Additionally includes:! receiving an uplink radio block from a wireless destination network; ! sending an MBMS SERVICE REQUEST message in the designated uplink radio block to the wireless network, including the identifier of the mobile station and the Stop Receiving MBMS Radio Bearer parameter; and! receiving a PACKET TBF RELEASE message from the wireless network, which includes the mobile station identifier and the TBF_RELEASE_CAUSE value (TBF release reason) defined as “Stop Receiving MBMS Radio Bearerâ€Â. ! 5. The method according to claim 3, in which the initiation and transmission include sending to the wireless network the identifier of the mobile station and the parameter stop receiving the MBMS radio channel in the message confirmation / negative acknowledgment of reception of the MBMS downlink (MBMS DOWNLINK ACK / NACK), and The method further includes:! receiving from a wireless network a “packet TBF release†(PACKET TBF RELEASE) message, which includes
