FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method computer software product and mobile station are suggested which provide for request initiation by mobile station for termination of multimedia translation/multimedia service radio channel reception and transfer of this request into wireless network which is the source of mentioned radio channel of multimedia translation/multimedia service. In other aspect of this invention method computer software product and unit of wireless network are suggested which provide for reception of request from mobile station for termination of multimedia translation/multimedia service radio channel reception and reply is provided through sending of message into mobile station about release of packet time flow of blocks which comprises mobile station identifier and value TBF-RELEASE-CAUSE which is set as termination of MBMS radio channel reception. ^ EFFECT: reduced energy consumption in mobile station accumulator reduced load in network and increased quality of subscribers service. ^ 21 cl 5 dwg
