Abstract  Abstract

1. A method comprising the steps of: generating a plurality of downlink resource grants for a device to facilitate communication with it; indicating a sequence number of at least one of the plurality of downlink resource grants or a total number for a plurality of resource grants downlink by using the index of the downlink assignments of at least one of a plurality of downlink resource grants; and transmitting a plurality of downlink resource grants to said device. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of: receiving one or more feedback parameters associated with a plurality of downlink resource grants. The method of claim 2, further comprising determining whether or not one or more feedback parameters represent the combined feedback parameters. The method of claim 3, wherein determining whether or not one or more feedback parameters represent the combined feedback parameters includes determining that one feedback parameter is received from one of the plurality of feedback resources, associated with multiple downlink resource grants. 5. The method of claim 2, wherein receiving one or more feedback parameters includes receiving one or more feedback parameters as a plurality of bits indicated by a cyclic shift or modification of an orthogonal sequence in a connected uplink
