FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication channel structure to be used in a communication system which uses two sets of physical channels to provide interoperation of multiple logical channels. One set is destined for forward link and the other one - for return link. Physical channels contain data and control links. In case of invention proposed data links contain main channels which are used to transmit voice traffic data broadband data and other service information and supplementary channels which are used to transmit broadband data. The main channels can be released in order to use current bandwidth more effectively when remote stations are inactive.
