Abstract
FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: efficient time synchronisation of an uplink is carried out with a target cell during user equipment (UE) handover in active mode in a mobile communication system in which the cell transmitter signals to the UE that time synchronisation of the uplink is not required or the target cell and the UE transmits over the uplink to the target cell with time synchronisation of the uplink used in the initial cell without time synchronisation of the uplink. ^ EFFECT: reduced service delays when sending signals and data over an uplink. ^ 28 cl 8 dwg
