Abstract  Abstract

The invention relates to a method for dynamically specifying a TDD reconfiguration to the mobile station, comprising encoding the dynamic TDD reconfiguration specification to DCI or CRC calculated for DCI. In one embodiment, the TDD configuration specification is implicitly encoded into the CRC as an RNTI when the CRC for DCI is mixed with a TDD-RNTI. In another embodiment, the TDD configuration specification is part of the DCI payload, and the CRC for DCI is mixed with a cell identifier that identifies the target cell to which the dynamic TDD reconfiguration is to be applied. In another embodiment, the TDD configuration specification is part of the DCI data payload, wherein the DCI data payload further comprises an invalid parameter indicating to the mobile station that the DCI carries the TDD configuration specification.
