The present invention relates to methodsa user equipment and a radio base station in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation. The user equipment is configured to receive data from the radio base station in a first cell and the radio base station is configured to broadcast system information comprising configuration parameters in the first and in a second cell. The method for the user equipment comprises receiving (410 420) configuration information for an aggregation of the first and the second cell and information on how to apply the system information broadcasted in the second cell from the radio base station.
