Abstract  Abstract

When the transmission and the next transmission (retransmission) between distributing spread spectrum code of the data to be transmitted is changed. For example the sending of the first packet (first transmission) using spreading code 0 to spreading code 1-4 and when the transmission of the second packet (retransmission) using spreading code 1 to spreading code 1-4. Therefore through combining the receiving device more received symbol of despread signal can be removed with extremely low receiving level of a received symbol thereby improving the reception quality.

The spreading codes to be assigned to data to be transmitted are changed between a transmission time and the next one (retransmission time). For example at a transmission of the first packet (first transmission) symbols 1-4 are spread with a spreading code #0 while at a transmission of the second packet (retransmission) the symbols 1-4 are spread with a spreading code #1. As a result combining despread signals of the symbols received by the receiving apparatus a plurality of times can eliminate received symbols having extremely low reception levels so that reception quality can be improved.
