The invention relates to a method for the transmission of data between at least two nodes of a network, one node being attached to at least one IP environment, known as the originating environment. According to the invention, one such method comprises: a step for the allocation of a fictional address in an IP environment different from the originating environment, to at least one user agent included in one of said nodes; and a step for the presentation of at least the fictional address and an originating address of the user agent in the originating environment during the establishment of communication with at least one remote node.
