Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a method for transmitting channel quality information based on differential scheme. When the sending by the receiver in the frequency selective channel selecting a predetermined number of sub-band channel quality information of sending total average channel information. The channel information of the selected sub-bands is transmitted as the average channel information of sub-band differential information. In this case a sub-band differential information capable of containing only a value in a particular range of difference value of positive (+) value. If sending at least two pieces of channel quality information of MIMO system then it sends a multi-channel conventionally employed to transmit channel quality information and then the channel quality information of the other channel is transmitted as spatial differential information. In this case the lower the spatial differential information is contained in a specific value (0) is asymmetric in a differential-value range.
