Abstract  Abstract

The invention relates to novel methods and apparatus for providing transparent mobility in the network entity. The invention allows a given entity to peer entity communications path from one position to another position but not the mobile informs the peer entity and not destroying the communication channel. The invention can be applied to a decentralized network using IP protocol especially without introducing latency time and does not reduce network effective bandwidth of the network to the desired mobility mechanism. In the invention compared with other mobility model without increasing the waiting time does not increase bandwidth usage. In addition the invention uses the standard protocol from a plurality of equipment manufacturers on various platforms. Therefore the present invention is required to support the network provider of transparent mobility in the network provides a very low cost model.
