Abstract  Abstract

A domain transfer method, a system, and a device thereof are presented, so as to realize location and domain transfer on a session to be transferred performed by a domain transfer application server (AS). The domain transfer method includes the steps as follows. The domain transfer AS receives a domain transfer request message containing a transfer identifier. The domain transfer AS acquires the transfer identifier from the domain transfer request message, and performs a domain transfer on a corresponding session according to the transfer identifier. The domain transfer system includes a user terminal and a domain transfer AS. The user terminal is adapted to send a domain transfer request message containing a transfer identifier when initiating a domain transfer of a session. The domain transfer AS is adapted to acquire the transfer identifier from the domain transfer request message, and perform the domain transfer on the corresponding session according to the transfer identifier.
