Synthesis filter bank for filtering a plurality of input frames, each input frame comprising a number of ordered input values, comprising: a frequency / time converter (210) configured to provide a sequence of frames (240) of output, an output frame comprising a number of ordered output samples, an output frame being a temporary representation of an input frame; a window former (220) configured to process each output frame to generate a window frame from the respective output frame by weighing the output samples of the respective output frame based on a mode weighting function (280) that each frame in windows comprises a plurality of samples in windows; and in which the window former is configured to provide the plurality of samples in windows for overlapping processing based on a sample value in advance, the number of output samples being ordered larger than twice the value in advance shows; an overlap / adder (230) configured to provide a frame (290) summed for each frame in windows, the summed frame comprising a plurality of frames added a number of which is equal to the value in advance of the sample, in which the overlap / adder is configured so that the summed frame comprises at least one starting section (300) corresponding to at least the most previous output value according to the order of the ordered output samples and a remaining section (310), in which the overlap / adder is configured to, by providing the summed frame, add at least three samples in windows from at least three frames in consecutively generated windows including the frame in respective windows and at least two frames from the past, for a summed sample in the remaining section and add at least two samples in windows from the at least two frames in windows of the past for a sample added in the starting section, in which the numer or of samples in windows added to obtain a sample added in the remaining section is at least one sample higher compared to the number of samples in windows added to obtain a sample added in the starting section, or the window former is configured to adjust the samples in corresponding windows, corresponding to the starting section, to a predetermined value or at least one value in the predetermined interval for each frame in windows of the plurality of frames in windows, the summing overlay being configured to use the samples in corresponding windows thus adjusted of the respective window frame in the sum with the at least two samples in windows of the at least two frames in windows of the past.
