Abstract  Abstract

The unit allows wireless telephone communications with a base station. It comprises a baseband processor 22 coupled to a storage means 32 and to an engine processor 40. The latter acts as pilot. The signal from the modem processor is transformed into an analogue signal which after processing forms a signal FI later amplified. The amplified signal is combined with a signal produced by a synthesizer 72 to give an RF wire. On the basis of certain signals coming from the base station the baseband processor produces signals determining whether the subscriber unit will be in the transmission or reception mode. <IMAGE>
