Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the past positioning results reusable and to protect the privacy of a user even in reusing the positioning results.

SOLUTION: When a client 101 requests a GMLC 102 for the positioning of a mobile machine (1) the GMLC 102 refers to privacy set information of the mobile machine and confirms the positioning request (3). When positioning is not inhibited and even the past position is acceptable the GMLC 102 holds positioning result of the mobile machine and confirms whether to be able to reuse the positioning result (4). When the positioning result is reusable and notification to the mobile machine is required the GMLC 102 sends a message about privacy to an SGSN/MSC device 103. The SGSN/MSC device 103 performs notification or confirmation processing of the mobile machine (8) and transmits a privacy confirmation result to the GMLC 102 (9). The GMLC 102 performs additional privacy check (10) and sends the positioning result to the client 101 (11) if no problem exist.
