Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of propagation path presumption upon receiving signals from a plurality of antennas.

SOLUTION: A transmitting device of a base station includes a preamble A generating unit a preamble B generating unit phase rotating units multiplexing units an error correction coding unit an S/P converting unit a mapping unit a changeover switch IDFT units P/S converting units GI (Guard Interval) inserting units D/A converting units radio transmitting units and antenna units. In the preamble A generating unit and the preamble B generating unit a preamble A and a preamble B are generated respectively. The preamble A is output to the multiplexing units. The preamble B is output to the phase rotating unit. The phase rotating units to which the preamble B has been input give continuous phase rotating to subcarriers of the preamble B.
