Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of propagation path estimation by receiving signals from a plurality of antennas.

SOLUTION: A transmitting device of a base station side has: a preamble A generating part 010; a preamble B generating part 011; phase rotating parts 012 013; multiplex parts 014 015; an error correction encoding part 016; an S/P converting part 017; a mapping part 018; a changeover switch 019; IDFT parts 020 026; P/S converting parts 021 027; GI (Guard Interval) inserting parts 022 028; D/A converting parts 023 029; radio transmitting parts 024 030; and antenna parts 025 031. The preamble A is output to the multiplex parts 014 015 while the preamble B is output to the phase rotating parts 012 013. In the phase rotating parts 012 013 to which the preamble B has been input a continuous phase rotation is applied to each of subcarriers of the preamble B and only the phase rotating part 013 applies a phase rotation to the preamble B.
