Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of precisely switching between transmission modes of PUSCH and PUCCH while preventing increase of signaling overhead.

SOLUTION: At a mobile station a reception RF section 202 performs a calculation based on a maximum transmission power and a transmission power of a data channel and receives a transmitted first power head room (PHR). At the mobile station the reception RF section 202 performs a calculation based on the maximum transmission power the transmission power of the data channel and the transmission power of the control channel and receives transmitted second PHR. The transmission mode control section 210 sets simultaneous transmission using different frequency bands between the data channel and the control channel to the mobile station. When transmitting using the different frequency bands between the data channel and the control channel the mobile station calculates the second PHR and transmits the same.
