Abstract  Abstract

The effects of bad frames received on the communication channel by the voice decoder have values based on at least a partial adaptive average of recently received good frames, and of the spectral parameters of bad frames (bad frames are corrupted frames or lost frames). It is concealed by replacing the values, and in the case of a damaged frame (as opposed to a lost frame), it is concealed using the bad frame itself if the bad frame meets some criteria. The purpose of concealment is to find the most suitable parameters for bad frames in order to make the subjective quality of synthesized speech as high as possible.
