Abstract
The present invention provides a method for reducing interface load of Home Subscriber Server. After receiving request information from S-CSCF that requests to save name information of the S-CSCF and requests for user subscribing information, HSS first saves name information of the S-CSCF included in the information, then performs a query according to user identification in the information, and returns respond information including user subscribing information back to the S- CSCF directly. The present invention simplifies the steps of querying user subscribing information, optimizes service flow, and reduces interface load of the HSS. In addition, After receiving query request information from the I-CSCF, HSS returns respond information including S- CSCF name and/or information of S-CSCF ability set that can support the strictest service-subscribing requirement of the user to the I-CSCF, further reducing the interface load of HSS. The present invention has no effect on existing network structure and service implementation, and needs not to modify existing interface specification, therefore having good compatibility and expandability.
