Abstract  Abstract

In general, techniques are described for compensating for errors in decomposed representations of sound fields. According to these techniques, a device including one or more processors quantizes one or more first vectors representing one or more components of a sound field, and quantizes one or more first vectors in one or more second vectors, May be configured to compensate for errors introduced due to quantization of the vectors.
