A method comprising:', 'selecting one of a plurality of decompression schemes based on the indication of whether an compressed version of spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object; and', 'decompressing the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients using the selected one of the plurality of decompression schemes.

The method of claim 1,', 'wherein selecting one of the plurality of decompression schemes comprises selecting the one of the plurality of decompression schemes with an integrated decoder, and', 'wherein decompressing the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients comprises decompressing the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients with the integrated decoder.

A device comprising:', 'one or more processors configured to select one of a plurality of decompression schemes based on the indication of whether an compressed version of spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object, and decompress the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients using the selected one of the plurality of decompression schemes.

4. The device of claim 3, wherein the device comprises an integrated decoder.

A device comprising:', 'means for selecting one of a plurality of decompression schemes based on the indication of whether an compressed version of spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object; and', 'means for decompressing the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients using the selected one of the plurality of decompression schemes.

6. The device of claim 5,', 'wherein the means for selecting one of the plurality of decompression schemes comprises an integrated decoder, and', 'wherein the means for decompressing the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients comprises the integrated decoder.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processors of an integrated decoding device to:', 'select one of a plurality of decompression schemes based on the indication of whether an compressed version of spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object; and', 'decompress the compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients using the selected one of the plurality of decompression schemes.

8. A method comprising:', 'obtaining an indication of whether spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein obtaining the indication comprises determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients are generated from the synthetic audio object

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises excluding a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

11. The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:

excluding a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix; and', 'predicting a vector of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix based on remaining vectors of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:', 'excluding a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix; and', 'predicting a vector of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises predicting a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:', 'predicting a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix; and', 'computing an error based on the predicted vector

15. The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:

predicting a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix; and', 'computing an error based on the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:', 'predicting a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix; and', 'computing an error as a sum of the absolute value of the difference of the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix

The method of claim 9, wherein determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object comprises:', 'predicting a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix;', 'computing an error based on the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix;', 'computing a ratio based on an energy of the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix and the error; and', 'comparing the ratio to a threshold to determine whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object

18. The method of claim 8, further comprising specifying the indication in a bitstream that stores a compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients

19. The method of claim 8, wherein obtaining the indication comprises obtaining the indication from a bitstream that stores a compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients.

20. A device comprising:', 'one or more processors configured to obtain an indication of whether spherical harmonic coefficients representative of a sound field are generated from a synthetic audio object.

21. The device of claim 20, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine whether the spherical harmonic coefficients are generated from the synthetic audio object.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, exclude a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, exclude a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, and predict a vector of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix based on remaining vectors of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, exclude a first vector from a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field to obtain

a reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, and predict a vector of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the reduced framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, predict a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, predict a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, and compute an error based on the predicted vector.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, predict a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, and compute an error based on the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, predict a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, and compute an error as a sum of the

absolute value of the difference of the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix.

The device of claim 21, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to, when determining whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object, predict a vector of a framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix storing at least a portion of the spherical harmonic coefficients based, at least in part, on a sum of remaining vectors of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, compute an error based on the predicted vector and the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix, compute a ratio based on an energy of the corresponding vector of the framed spherical harmonic coefficient matrix and the error, and compare the ratio to a threshold to determine whether the spherical harmonic coefficients representative of the sound field are generated from the synthetic audio object.

30. The device of claim 20, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to specify the indication in a bitstream that stores a compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients.

31. The device of claim 20, wherein the one or more processors are configured to obtain the indication from a bitstream that stores a compressed version of the spherical harmonic coefficients.
