Abstract  Abstract

Disclosed are technology for enabling transmission of small data is one of user equipment (UE) configured for machine type communication (TCM). One method comprising receiving by the US medium from one evolved node (eNB) one block of the system information (SIB). The SIB may include information from the system information that is related with the transmission of small data for TCM. Information of the system information included in the SIS is read by the EU. Are carried out to the transmission of small data from the EU to the eNB database with the information in the system information included in the SIB.

Technology for enabling small data transmissions in a user equipment (UE) configured for machine type communication (MTC) is disclosed. One method comprises receiving by the UE from an evolved node (eNB) a system information block (SIB). The SIB can include system information relating to small data transmissions for MTC. The system information included in the SIB is read by the UE. The small data transmission is performed from the UE to the eNB based on the system information included in the SIB.
