Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: acoustics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of encoding digital audio signal. Encoding a previous frame of samples of a digital signal through predictive coding. Encoding a current frame of samples of digital signal through transform coding. Method is implemented so that a first portion of current frame is further encoded by predictive coding which is reduced compared to predictive coding of previous frame by reusing at least one parameter of predictive coding of previous frame and encoding only non-reused parameters of said first part of current frame. Invention also provides a decoding method corresponding to coding method described. Object thereof is also an encoder and a decoder, in which described methods of encoding and decoding are respectively used.EFFECT: technical result is to reduce number of bits required to transmit encoded signal without changing encoding quality.17 cl, 13 dwg
