Abstract
A hand-off method is provided. The method comprises: the eMSC receives re-location request from the first network and transferring it to the second network and asks for the second network to set up own media plane interrelation; the eMSC sets up media plane interrelation with the second network; the eMSC indicates terminal to access the second network. The terminal can hand off among different network by using eMSC and by using the above method. A terminal re-location method is also provided. When the eMSC that the terminal attaches to is changed the terminal can re-attach to the destination eMSC. A hand-off apparatus and a hand-off system are also provided.
