Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a wireless communication system for use in a subscriber unit and method especially claims a method for generating modulated data for transmission to the method and device of a base station from a subscriber unit. The method combines a pilot data combined with a control signal generates a first data stream. Then the first data stream is provided to a complex multiplier and the provided one or more data stream carries out an operation of complex multiplication with a complex pseudo-noise code. Correspondingly the invention further claims a method for demodulating a received signal and device the method combines the received signal with a complex pseudo-noise code carries out an operation of complex multiplication to provide a complex signal by pseudo-noise de-spreading and complex signal from the pseudo-noise de-spreading in removing a pilot signal.
