Abstract  Abstract

This invention claims a wireless communication system for use in a subscriber unit and method especially claims a method for generating modulated data for transmission to the method and apparatus for a base station from a subscriber unit. The method combines a pilot data combined with a control signal generating the first data stream. Then the first data stream is provided to a complex multiplier and the one or more data streams provided by performing a complex multiplication with a complex pseudo-noise code. Correspondingly the invention further claims method and device for demodulating the received signal the method performing a complex multiplication with a complex pseudo-noise code to provide a pseudo-noise de-extending the received signal of the complex signal and de-expanding from the pseudo-noise eliminating pilot signal in the complex signal.
