Abstract  Abstract

in a wireless communication system through following manner that CAZAC sequence as a pilot signal sequence by using code division multiplexing as at least one of user multiplexing scheme of sending: through the frequency as blocks (B1 B2) the system frequency with usable in the system is divided into a bandwidth (W1 W2) using a sequence length (L1 L2) are respectively corresponding to the frequency block (B1 B2) of the pilot signal sequence generated by the single carrier frequency block (B1. B2) of the pilot signal and using a plurality of frequency blocks in any number of frequency blocks using a multi-carrier transmitting the generated pilot signals as the pilot signals of each user.

When a CAZAC sequence is transmitted as a pilot signal sequence and a code division multiplexing is used as at least one of user multiplexing methods in a wireless communication system a system band which is a frequency band available for the system is divided into frequency blocks (B1B2) of predetermined bandwidths (W1W2) and pilot signal sequences having sequence lengths (L1L2) associated with the respective frequency blocks (B1B2) are used to generate pilot signals of the respective frequency blocks (B1B2) by use of a single carrier. Any number of ones of the plurality of frequency blocks are used to multicarrier transmit the generated pilot signals as pilot signals associated with the respective users.
