Abstract
claims a serving base station in a broadband mobile communication system allows mobile station in the serving cell area to perform a handover a method for operating the broadband mobile communication system including the mobile station providing service to the mobile station and one or more includes at least one serving cell of the serving base station area of the target cell area of the target base station. the method comprises: when detecting a need to perform cell sends a handover request message to a serving base station from the mobile station is switched and when the mobile station is to one or more target base stations by the serving base station during the handoff mobile station determines to cancel the handover sends a handover cancellation information of the handover indication message to the serving base station.
