For switching the base station synchronization method and device in a hybrid GSM/CDMA network. A mobile wireless telecommunications system includes base stations (30) of a first type operating according to a first air interface and base stations (36) of a second type operating according to a second air interface. As in the system from the first type of the first base station (30) to the second type of the second base station (36) to the mobile station (40) provides a method and a device thereof. The moving platform (40) and the first base station (30) and the first air interface establishing a communication link. In response to a mobile station (40) from the second base station (36) receives a second air interface at the upper part a mobile station (40) receives data and substantially without interrupting a communication link with the first base station. The mobile station (40) is handed over from the first (30) to the second base station (36) responsive to the data received therefrom.
