1. In a mobile radio-telecommunication system, which contains base stations of the first type operating in accordance with the first air interface and base stations of the second type operating in accordance with the second air interface, a method for handing off a mobile station in the system from the first base station of the first type to a second base station of a second type, comprising:! establishing a communication line through a first air interface between the mobile station and the first base station; ! receiving data from a mobile station responsive to a signal received by the mobile station through the second air interface from the second base station, essentially without interrupting the communication line with the first base station; and! handover of the mobile station from the first to the second base station, responsive to data received from it,! wherein the data reception comprises a signal intensity measurement reception, and the mobile station handoff contains a comparison of signal strength measurements from the first and second base stations and a mobile station handoff in response to this comparison. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which the data reception comprises the use of a weight coefficient for measuring signal intensity. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, in which the application of the weight coefficient comprises changing the coefficient in accordance with the state of the network in the system. ! 4. The method according to claim 2, in which the application of the weight coefficient comprises transmitting the weight coefficient via a communication line to a mobile station, which applies the weight coefficient for measurement. ! 5.
