Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: radio communications; cellular telephone communication networks. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed mobile radio communication system has first-type base stations operating in compliance with first air interface and second-type base stations operating in compliance with second air interface. Methods and device are proposed for transferring mobile station services within system from first base station which is first-type one to second (second-type) base station. Communication link is established through first air interface between mobile station and first base station. Data are received from mobile station in response to signal received by mobile station through second air interface between mobile station and first base station. Data are received from mobile station in response to signal received by mobile station through second air interface from second base station actually without interrupting line communication with first base station. Mobile station service transmission is executed from first to second base station in response to data received from mobile station. ^ EFFECT: ability of transferring services between first- and second-type base stations respectively without interrupting communications. ^ 12 cl 23 dwg 3 tbl
