claims a telecommunications system and method for enabling a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) node namely a cellular network serving GPRS support node (SGSN) can be parallel to the other existing transaction processing position of the GPRS mobile station (MS) service (LCS) request the existing transaction such as to transmit a short message for example data call or connection to a session management activities. can be GPRS MS GPRS in the SGSN and a connection management (CM) sub-layer into the transaction type of the new LCS in parallel to other provided service to process the request of the LCS. LCS is of through logic link of the GPRS control (LLC) sub layer distributes new service access point indicator (SAPI) LCS can be multiplexed together with other existing functions in GPRS. On the other hand when the different CM sub layer functions using a common LLC SAPI is capable of distributing different protocol discriminator (PD) LCS.
