Abstract  Abstract

A transmission rate control method used in the radio communication system capable of controlling a transmission rate of uplink user data of the mobile station position. The relative transmission speed transmitted through absolute transmission rate of E-AGCH transmission and through E-RGCH controls the transmission rate of uplink user data the method comprising: when the mobile station establishes the E-DPDCH from the wireless network control station inform information for identifying E-AGCH transmitted from the serving cell; but not informs the information for identifying the E-RGCH to the mobile station from the wireless network control station and at the mobile station according to the absolute transmission speed received from the service cell through the E-AGCH to control the transmission rate of uplink user data without considering the relative transmission rate.
