Method for conformance testing of a secondary station (110) for use in a radiocommunication system, the secondary station having means to enter a smooth handover process, in which it simultaneously communicates with at least two primary stations (100) , and also having a power control means (118) to adjust its output transmission power in response to power control commands received from each of the at least two primary stations (100), the method comprising the operation, in a test equipment, of the stages of: generation and transmission to a secondary station (110), in test, of at least two signals equivalent to those transmitted by the at least two primary stations, including each signal one power control script; control of the output transmission power of the secondary station; and determination of whether a function of the output transmission power is within specified sub-tolerance.
