Abstract
A method for transmitting a signal, the method comprising: converting (S441) a service flow to provide a service to a physical layer pipe (PLP); forming (S445) at least one signal frame multiplexed in time and frequency, the signal frame comprising the PLP and a preamble comprising layer 1 information; Modulate (S447) the signal frame multiplexed by an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) scheme to emit a modulated signal; and transmitting (S449) the modulated signal through at least one radio frequency (RF) band signal, wherein said layer 1 information in the preamble of the multiplexed signal frame includes information corresponding to a radio frequency channel ( RF) initial that the PLP can receive in the multiplexed signal frame.
