Abstract  Abstract

A user equipment (111, 112) that supports multiband signaling in a network (100), the user equipment (111, 112) comprising a transceiver and processing circuitry configured to: receive, in a signaling indicator of Multiple frequency band, MFBI, a list of MFBIs that includes elements that correspond to E-UTRA frequency bands in which neighboring LTE cells operate, in which each item in the MFBI list corresponds to an entry in one of one E-UTRA priority and frequency list and an E-UTRA priority and frequency extension list, and connect to a neighboring LTE cell using information from an item in the received MFBI list, in which each entry in the list E-UTRA priority and frequency and the E-UTRA priority and frequency extension list defines a value of a number of evolved absolute radio frequency channels, EARFCN, and a priority value for the respective EARFCN.
