Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for configuring an electric communication system that includes at least one transmitter side entity and one receiver side entity and where they use the same link for the transmission of some transport channels with different service qualities.

SOLUTION: The transmitter side entity matches respective speeds for different coded transport channels with separate service qualities and then multiplexes the different coded transport channels. The coincident speed specific to each transport channel is decided by at least one 1st parameter (RMi) denoting an estimated Eb/I ration and a 2nd parameter (Ndata) denoting the capability of a physical channel. This system is applicable to a mobile telephone network.
