Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for multiplexing enhanced uplink.

SOLUTION: In the equipment and the method for multiplexing enhanced uplink the allowed-combination set of the MAC-d flows (and/or logical channels) which are allowed to be multiplexed to a MAC-e PDU is defined to a WTRU. Also the MAC-e entity of the WTRU selects a combination from the allowed-combination set in order to multiplex the MAC-d flows to the respective MAC-e PDU. Further the combination of predetermined MAC-d flows which cannot be excluded from a transmission can be defined even when the WTRU is brought into the restriction of its transmitting power. Moreover the data quantity obtained from the respective logical channels capable of multiplexing them to the MAC-e PDU or from the corresponding MAC-d flows is defined so as to be able to make an ensuring data rate secure. Furthermore when the WTRU is brought into the restriction of its power the indication of this restriction is communicated to a node B by an EU transmission.
