Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular communication system and method for broadcast communication.

SOLUTION: A time-division-duplex (TDD) direction cellular communication system (100) is arranged so as to support up and down link communications allocated to a unicast time division duplex (TDD) direction communication using a reuse pattern of a single cell identifier. The TDD cellular communication system (100) has a plurality of wireless service providing communication units integrated to be operated based on a management logic. The TDD cellular communication system (100) further has a management logic (146) arranged to divide the physical resource of a time domain in such a manner that a unicast communication using the reuse pattern of the single cell identifier is supported by a first part of the physical resource of the time domain and a broadcast communication using the reuse pattern of a common cell identifier (215) is supported by a second part of the physical resource of the time domain.
