Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting response information in a mobile communication system which reduces an amount of wasted radio resources and effectively uses the radio resources.

SOLUTION: A method of transmitting a specific preamble and receiving information in response to the specific preamble in a mobile communication system includes steps of: transmitting the specific preamble through a random access channel (RACH); receiving response information including at least one response corresponding to at least one preamble transmitted during a specific time interval and identification information corresponding to the at least one response over a common channel; and processing the response when the identification information indicates that the response corresponds to the specific preamble.
