Abstract
In one example, the device uses a bin index function to determine a context for entropy coding a bin of values indicating the last significant coefficient of the block of video data and uses the determined context to bin. And a video coder configured to perform coding. A video coder may encode or decode bins using context adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC). The function can also depend on the size of the block. In this way, the table indicating the context index for the context need not be stored by the device.
