Abstract
In one example, the device uses a function of the index of the bean to determine the context for entropy coding a bean of values representing the final significance coefficient of the block of video data, and the video coder configured to code the bean using the determined context . The video coder may also encode or decode the bean using context adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC). The function may also depend on the size of the block. In this way, a table representing contest indexes for contexts need not be stored in the device.
