Abstract  Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a base station, a mobile station, a wireless communication system, and a wireless transmission method capable of improving frequency use efficiency in a multi-cell environment.

In the base station, information indicating the configuration of the cell in which the mobile station exists, information indicating the number of mobile stations existing in the cell, information rate required by the mobile station, information indicating the traffic type, information on radio parameters of the mobile station, and propagation path conditions Determining the spreading rate and the number of chip repetitions used by the mobile station on the basis of at least one of the information indicating the information and the interference from the neighboring cell, and transmitting the determined spreading rate and the number of chip repetitions as control information to the mobile station. This is achieved by providing control information determining means.
