Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for operating a plurality of time alignment timers in a mobile communication system using carrier aggregation are provided to manage a plurality of uplink timing without errors by specifically performing terminal operation. CONSTITUTION: A first TAT(Timing Advance Timer) for a first group including a first cell operates. A second TAT operates while a timing advance information reception status for a second group not including the first cell is received. Transmission is determined by one of a HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Retransmit request) ACK/NACK message, a physical uplink control channel, and a sounding reference signal according to operation or operation expiration of the first TAT and the second TAT. The HARQ ACK/NACK messaging information which is generated for data transmitted from second cells belonging to a second group is transmitted to a base station. (Reference numerals) (611) TAT#1 operation corresponding to PTAG; (615) Integration of cells using RRC layer messages: Adding of integration target Scells information, STAG information, and corresponding TAT information; (617) RRC layer acknowledgement message for the step of 615; (621) Activation of integrated cells(e.g. Activation MAC CE); (623) Random Access performing order(POCCH order); (624) Random Access(RA) start order; (625) RA Preamble transmission order; (629) Operation start of TAT#2 of a corresponding STAG; (631) Operation end of the TAT#2 of the corresponding STAG; (641) Performing of random access for STAG by a PDCCH order; (643) Operation start of TAT#2 of the corresponding STAG; (645) Operation of TAT#2 of the corresponding STAG; (647) Operation end of TAT#1 of the PTAG; (A2) Release SRS resource corresponding to the corresponding STAG; (A4) Release of all of CQL,SRS,SR resources
