Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for reducing uplink transmission delay in a wireless communication system are provided to perform uplink timing control in case wave integration technique is used. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(1801) transceives a signal from a base station. A controller(1809) receives timing information for calculating timing advance for a second cell. The controller calculates timing advance for the second cell by using the timing information. The controller controls uplink timing according to the timing advance for the calculated second cell. The controller transmits uplink data. (Reference numerals) (1801) Transceiver; (1803) Multiplexing and reverse multiplexing unit; (1805) Upper layer unit; (1807) Control message processor; (1809) Controller; (1811) Carrier wave direct processor
