Abstract  Abstract

Linear prediction based and spectral domain noise shaping by using spectral decomposition into a spectrogram containing a series of spectra of an audio input signal for both linear prediction coefficient calculations as well as inputs for spectral domain shaping based on linear prediction coefficients. The encoding concept using is provided less complicated at significant coding efficiency, for example for the rate / distortion ratio. Even if such overlap transform is used for spectral decomposition, which causes aliasing and requires time aliasing removal, such as precisely sampled overlap transforms such as modified discrete cosine transform, the coding efficiency is still maintained.
