Abstract  Abstract

1. A method for distributing positioning signals in a time-multiplexed communication system, the method comprising the steps of! synchronizing multiple sources of positioning signals with a time reference; ! determining the time characteristics of a positioning time interval having a plurality of sub-intervals; ! configuring a location time interval with an identifier indicating that the location time interval includes location information; ! configuring in the first signal source a first sub-interval with a first positioning signal corresponding to a first signal source from a plurality of location signal sources; and! transmit, using the first signal source, a location time interval having a location signal. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of configuring empty sub-intervals in the first location of the signal in a time interval for determining location for sub-intervals other than the first sub-interval. ! 3. The method according to claim 1, additionally containing stages in which! configure in the second signal source a second sub-interval different from the first sub-interval, with a second positioning signal corresponding to a second signal source from a plurality of location signal sources; ! configure in the second signal source an empty sub-interval, at least in the first sub-interval; and! transmit using the second signal source the time interval
