Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: radio engineering communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Provided is a method in user equipment for processing a scheduling request initiating signal. The user equipment has buffer memory. After receiving (501) data coming into the buffer memory for transmission to a base station the user equipment generates (503) a scheduling request initiating signal. The scheduling request initiating signal is in waiting mode until terminated and is initiated directly or indirectly by incoming data. The user equipment terminates (504) the waiting scheduling request initiating signal when data which initiated generation of the scheduling request initiating signal are considered in a buffer memory status report which must be included in the scheduled data transmission for transmission to the base station or when data which initiated generation of a scheduling request are included in the scheduled data transmission for transmission to the base station which arrives earlier.EFFECT: high efficiency in a wireless communication network.9 cl 10 dwg
