Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: wireless communication equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for launching a machine-type communication (MTC) device. After receiving the trigger message from the MTC server the network verifies whether the MTC server is authorized to launch the target MTC device and whether the MTC device is authorized to respond to the trigger message by comparing the MTC device ID and the MTC server ID which are included in the trigger message with an authorized ID. After successful verification the network checks the launch type included in the trigger message to verify that the trigger message is authorized to be sent to the MTC device. After successful verification the network sends a trigger message to the MTC device. Network also checks the accuracy of the response from the MTC device by checking whether the MTC device is allowed to communicate with the addressed MTC server.EFFECT: implemented method provides increased security of data transfer when using the server.9 cl 12 dwg
